Pharma
We have become a benchmark in automated solutions for the pharmaceutical sector. From standardised applications, such as the packing of bottles and tubes of cream or the palletising of boxes, to an innovative robotised multi-format filling system, with a sophisticated quality control system using artificial vision integrated into the machine itself.
Food
EDS Robotics has established itself as a leader in providing solutions to large supermarket inter-suppliers to achieve these huge production figures and excellence in product quality. The most popular successful applications are in the areas of packaging, with machine vision controls, and product handling with robots. In addition, all customers want to have an automatic palletising system, with traceability control that ensures the preservation of their product throughout the logistics chain.
Agro
Without a doubt, one sector that characterises the company is the agri-food sector. It was the first sector where EDS Robotics was established more than 20 years ago. It has achieved totally innovative and revolutionary solutions for the sector. Some of the most relevant are fruit and vegetable sorters, robotised packing cells or even artificial vision systems for pest control and the search for defects in food.
Bakery
With a broad portfolio of solutions in terms of quality control in food, EDS Robotics took on the challenge of new projects for the application of Deep Learning (neural networks) in different applications in the Bakery world. A sector similar to those already known, but new to us due to the highly variable product types and the high production speeds achieved. We have managed to transform the years of work on the basis of our source code, to adapt it to different types of product and specifications, which has opened up an international expansion market that allows us to grow professionally and improve the production processes applied.
Textil
Despite being a very different sector in terms of product and type of production, we have managed to standardise applications from other sectors to give rise to new inspection and detection systems using artificial vision. Previous experience in other sectors, such as the food industry, has enabled us to successfully apply Neural Network algorithms to such complex and traditional points as the inspection of a fabric, a sheet or a coil.
Automotive
Industrial robotics, as well as machine vision, is applied in many processes within the automotive industry. We create high-tech solutions for our customers with Deep Learning applications that will enable them to work more efficiently and be more productive.
Footwear
The footwear industry is somewhat complex in terms of the variety of tasks and products, as well as the speed of work required. Thanks to the most innovative technology, we can also automate footwear factories in order to reduce costs and be more productive. Robotics is capable of moving very heavy and large materials. Thanks to robots and artificial vision, these types of materials can be cut and transported without human intervention and more quickly.
